Publishing the SOA composite services to Oracle Service Registry through EM console in Oracle SOA Suite

Publishing the SOA composite services to Oracle Service Registry through EM console in Oracle SOA Suite

The blog will explain the steps to publish the SOA composite services Oracle Service Registry through EM console in Oracle SOA Suite.

Register the Service registry:

Before publishing the SOA services to OSR from em console the service registry should be registered through EM console.

  • Login to EM console
  • Right click on the domain and click on–> webservices ->Registered Services

  • Click on add button

  •  Check the Publication flag as Enable and enter the service registry details as shown below and click on ok

Publishing the SOA services:

  • Right click on the soa-infra and click on Services and References. This will list all the available SOA composite services.

  • Select the service that needs to be published to OSR and click on the action Publish To UDDI.

We can publish web services to default Oracle Service Registry businesses from Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control. To publish to non default businesses, use the publish option in Oracle Service Registry. Even though you are selecting the different Business Name, the service will be published to the default Business (my case the default Business is ALSBNotoficationEntity)

  1. Hello Albin

Your article is very good, I've done step by step and everything is fine however when I will start to publish the services I click on the button "Publish to UDDI" throws me the following error "Proxy must be set for using UDDI source ".

Which I think is very rare and the network on which I am working do not have http proxy.

In advance thank you very much.
